Room 18:
Breaking the barrier!!
This
is arguably the trickiest room in the
shareware version (or maybe it is room 17?)!
First, let's have a look at how everything
works.
First, when a dark box goes on the blue
conveyor belts, a wood box below will keep
going back and fro. When the wood box
reaches the switch one of the white doors
opens, and the laser starts destroying the
wood boxes.
The
tricky part is that under the leftmost wood
box in each row is a switch. This switch is
what keeps the other laser turret running.
If the box is destroyed, the other laser
turrets shuts off immediately, and you will
not be able to destroy the other row of
boxes. What we need to do is to destroy both
rows at the same time! Here is how to do
it...
First, push the two dark boxes on the yellow
conveyor belt, they will travel to the blue
conveyor belts...
Now, wait for the dark
box at the right to be on your side and push
it to the other side, like this
Repeat this 2 more times, so that now, if
you do it once more, the wood box will touch
the switch. But, don't make the final push
right now.
Do
the same for the other side. Push the other
dark box 3 times in the same way.
Now,
we need to get the 2 dark boxes out, go
inside, and push them out... like this...
And push it out... Same
for the other one... Arrange them like
this...
This is the position we
were looking for. Now, push the one on your
right to the right, and when it starts to
move into the vertical conveyor belt, push
the other one... they should be synchronized
so that they move like this...
That's it! Now, the 2
rows of boxes will be destroyed, except for
one box! Push it to the right, and move to
the
next room...
